This week the United States government announced new Section 301 tariffs of 10% on $200 billion worth of imports from China to be implemented September 24th.
There is further risk and a threat of escalation to 25% of this same list in early 2019 if there’s no progress on trade discussions between
China and the United States. The affected harmonized tariff codes are in the link below, and includes all fasteners except for nuts.
Our disposable tooling products and safety equipment remain unaffected at this point in time.
